Our goal is to provide educational information for the many North Carolina citizens who voluntarily service as board members for local Departments of Social Services. DSS is your tax dollars at work meeting the needs of our citizens who are in unfortunate situations.
NCACBSS is very active with Director's Association and other humas service affiliates providing guidance from the board's perspective and experience from other business wolds to enhance management of the services provided. These efforts ensure your tax dollars are not wasted and services are not provided to those who are ineligible. Our Association is continually seeking ways for the Agency to operate more efficiently, reducing the number of people required to administer the service programs that subsequently makes your tax dollars go further.
